A rendering profile comprises an L-section member (10) which, in use, has its limb (11) secured to a substrate, its other limb (12) being used to support and protect the lowermost edge of the lowest run of panels, sheets or bats of insulating material which are being applied to the building. To the free edge of the limb (12), there is applied, by friction fit an elongate, downwardly-angled extension (13) of plastics material; said free edge is rolled and a lip on the extension engages the rolled edge. The extension (13) can be mitred to be fitted around corners. The extension serves as clip-on shuttering to facilitate formation of a drip. <IMAGE> |
