PURPOSE:To obtain a tasteful drink on an industrial scale in high efficiency, by extracting the active component of the raw material of a tasteful drink in a hot-extraction vessel and passing the extract through a filter to remove the grounds. CONSTITUTION:Raw material of a tasteful drink such as green tea, oolong tea, adlay tea, black tea, coffee, etc., is optionally subjected to a proper pretreatment and put into a hot-extraction vessel 1. The active component of the raw material is extracted under heating in the vessel 1. In the above process, the raw material to be charged in the vessel is preliminarily weighed with a weighing apparatus 2 and a definite amount of hot water is used in the extraction. The content in the vessel 1 is transferred with a transfer means such as pump 6 to a filter 7 to separate the extracted liquid from the groups. The extracted liquid separated by the filter 7 is transported to a storage tank 12, if necessary, after treating with a separator 11 to remove minute grounds remaining in the extracted liquid. |
