<p>In a one-way clutch, concentric internal and external rotary members (1,2) define therebetween a plurality of tapered clutch member spaces (5), in each of which there are at least two moveable (e.g. rolling) members (3,4,6), one behind the other in the circumferential direction, and movable between a first position inhibiting relative rotation of the rotary members (1,2), and a second position allowing this relative rotation. The clutch member spaces (5), may be separated from one another by stoppers (1b), which set limits to the motion of the movable members (3,4,6). <MATH></p> |
