Concave surface writing board

The board consists of a supporting structure and a metal panel (26) which is treated to give it a writing surface and mounted on a wall (M) by fixings (16). The lengthwise ends of the board are set at a distance from the surface of the wall, and its concave curved surface extends between them. The supporting structure fo the board is made from a wood-based or similar material, and the metal sheet is painted or enamelled so it can be written on with a marker, or is roughened to take chalk. In a variant of the design the supporting structure can be backed with a second metal panel. The curved surface of the board is produced by bending it over a frame with adjustable thrust members. <IMAGE>
