PURPOSE:To produce a composite composition suitable to obtain a dental composite cured body excellent in mechanism strength, wear resistance, surface lubricity and wear resistance to teeth by compounding an inorg. oxide in a specified mixing state and a radical-polymerizable monomer. CONSTITUTION:An inorg. composition (C) in which the volume of a strongly flocculated line pore having >=0.08mum fine pore diameter is <=0.1cc/g is produced by mixing 60-99wt.% spherical inorg. oxide particles (A) having 0.1-1mum average grain size with 40-1wt.% inorg. oxide particles (B) having <=0.1mum average grain size. A composite composition is produced by compounding this inorg. composition or an inorg. composition prepared by surface-treating 50-95wt.% this inorg. composition (C) with 0.1-30 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. this inorg. comp., treating agent with 50-5wt.% radical-polymerizable monomer. The resultant composite composition is used polymerizing and curing at the time of use. |
