PURPOSE:To provide an oil seal which has a side lip for sealing a rotary end face and which works effectively even if the axial lip interference of the side lip varies greatly. CONSTITUTION:In an oil seal 1 having a side lip 12 for sealing a rotary end face 5, a curved portion 13 is provided somewhere along the length of the side lip 12, the thickness of the curved portion 13 being smaller than that of the surrounding lip. |
