PURPOSE:To produce a ceramic composition for piezoelectric filter having excellent piezoelectric characteristics and moisture resistance by using a specific compound as a main component and adding prescribed amounts of Cr2O3 and Sb2O3 to the main material. CONSTITUTION:This ceramic composition is produced by using (Pb1-xSrx)(Zr1-yTiy)O3 (0<=x<=0.06; 0.51<=y<=0.53) as a main component and adding <=3.0 and >0wt.% of Cr2O3 and <=10 and >0wt.% of Sb2O3 based on 100wt.% of the main component. The composition is produced e.g. by separately weighing powders of PbO, SrO2, ZrO2, TiO2, Cr2O3 and Sb2O3 as raw materials at ratios to get the prescribed composition, mixing and crushing in a vibration mill, calcining under prescribed condition in air, crushing the calcined product, drying in frozen state, compression-molding the obtained dried powder, clamping the molded product between a pair of pellets and baking in an electric furnace in air under prescribed condition to form a sintered compact composed of a ceramic composition for piezoelectric filter. |
