PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic composition for piezoelectric filter having stable piezoeleptric characteristics and excellent temperature characteristics of resonance frequency and moisture resistance by using a specific compound as a main component and adding specific amounts of Cr2O3 and MnO to the main component. CONSTITUTION:This ceramic composition is produced by using Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 (0.48<=x<=0.52) as a main component and adding <=0.5 and >0wt.% of Cr2O3 and <=1.0 and >0wt.% of MnO2 based on 100wt.% of the main component. The composition is produced e.g. by separately weighing powders of PbO, ZrO2, TiO2, Cr2O3 and MnOz as raw materials, mixing and crushing in a vibration mill, calcining under prescribed condition in air, crushing the calcined product, drying in a vat, forming the obtained dried powder in the form of a plate by extrusion, punching the plate to a prescribed form, clamping the formed material between a pair of pellets and baking in an electric furnace in air under prescribed condition. |
