PURPOSE:To provide an electric toothbrush which can switch over the operation of a brush body with ease without manual operations. CONSTITUTION:This electric toothbrush is provided with a main body 1 composed of a drive section 13 which actuates various kinds of actions and of an action change section 14 which selectively switches an action over to another action out of the aforesaid actions, and with a brush body 2 driven by the drive section 13. The action change section 14 is so constituted that the action of the drive section 13 is changed depending on pressure applied on the brush body 2.
