<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out the receiving and delivery of a load by the less number of trucks and in the shorter transfer distance, by reducing the installation space of a load disposal device in an automatic warehouse equipped with a plurality of racks and stacker cranes which are arranged laterally and erected. CONSTITUTION:Two unmanned trucks 32 and 34 are arranged on a pair of rails 31 extending between a receiving/delivery area L1 set along the receiving/ delivery position of each stacker crane and a waiting area L2 separated from the receiving/delivery area L1. In the ordinary case where the carried-in/out load quantity is less than a certain value, only the unmanned truck 32 is used in the state where the unmanned truck 33 is in waiting in the waiting area, and the carrying-in/out operation is carried out for a carrying-in/out conveyor 34 which approached behind the receiving/delivery area, and in the peak where the carried-in/out load quantity exceeds a certain value, the unmanned trucks 32 and 33 are used in correspondence with the charged division of the stacker crane, and the carrying-in/out operation is carried out, for the carrying-in/out conveyor 34 or 35.</p> |
