PURPOSE:To improve stacking aptitude and paper passing properties by providing a coating layer containing microcapsules including a leuco dye and a coupler to the raw paper of pressure-sensitive copy paper having specific characteristic values. CONSTITUTION:Pressute-sensitive copy paper for a non-impact printer is produced by providing a coating layer containing microcapsules including a leuco dye and a coupler to the raw paper of the pressure sensitive copy paper. In this case, the raw paper has properties represented by formulae I, II, III (theta is the angle of orientation of the fiber of the raw paper measured by a molecular orientation meter of a microwave system, theta1 and M1 are the ratios of the max. and min. values of the angles of orientation of a fiber and microwave transmission intensities of the surfaces formed by bisecting the raw paper in the thickness direction thereof measured by the molecular orientation meter of a microwave system and theta2 and M2 are the ratios of the max. and min. values of the angles of orientation of a fiber and microwave transmission intensities of the bisected rear surfaces of the raw paper). |
