PURPOSE:To easily maintain the state removing only the dissolved oxygen of a blood collecting appliance for measuring blood gases consisting of a plastic or the state of removing the air even if the blood is preserved in this appliance by hermetically sealing the appliance together with an oxygen absorbent into a package container which does not substantially allow permeation of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:This package 1 is formed by hermetically sealing the blood collecting appliance 3 and the oxygen absorbent 2 for removing the oxygen in the package container 4 and the dissolved oxygen in the blood collecting appliance 3 into the package container 4 and sealing the container by a heat sealing part 5. Laminated films of, for example, polyester-polyethylene-aluminum-polyethylene, are used as the material having the low gas permeability of the material to be used for the package container 4. The package container 4 is formed by forming such films into a bag form and hermetically sealing the bag by heat sealing in the state of putting the oxygen absorbent 2 and the blood collecting appliance 3 therein. For example, an existing polypropylene blood collecting appliance is used for the blood collecting appliance 3 and, for example, a self-reaction type oxygen absorbent consisting essentially of iron powder is used for the oxygen absorbent. |
