<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeder by which operability in feeding a small-sized and highly rigid sheet is improved and which can contribute to downsizing of a device at low cost. CONSTITUTION:A sheet feeder is provided with a cassette 4 capable of loading and housing plural sheets, a feeding roller 5 to feed the sheets from the cassette 4 and a separating means to separate the sheets fed by the feeding roller 5 one by one. The cassette 4 is provided with a movable side regulating plate 16 to regulate the sheet end, and the separating means is provided with a separating claw 14 and a claw support member 15 to movably support the separating claw 14. The claw support member 15 is movably constituted by following a movement of the side regulating plate 16, and a stopper 12a is arranged on a sheet loading plate 12 so as to regulate a movement of the claw support member 15 when the side regulating plate 16 is moved to a small size position.</p> |
