<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently and precisely separate the coating material and to obtain the scrap of high quality by executing the heat treatment to the brazing sheet scrap, melting the coating material to be dropped and forcedly separating the gathered fillet. CONSTITUTION:The brazing sheet scrap 1 composed of a coating material of a brazing filler metal and a core material is laid on a conveyor 3 through a robot 2 and passed through a heating furnace 4 while supported vertically with a guide 13. In this furnace, the heating treatment is executed to the scrap 1 within the temp. range from the liquidus of the coating material to the solidus of the core material. By this method, the coating material is melted and dropped to be gathered as the fillet 11 below the scrap 1. Thereafter, the fillet 11 is cooled and solidified, and successively, the guide 3 is twisted and the scrap 1 is turned over and carried to a cutter 5. In this cutter, the fillet 11 is cut and separated and recovered in a brazing filler metal vessel 7 and the good quality scrap 1 free from the coating material is housed in a recovering vessel 6.</p> |
