PURPOSE:To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a fixing roll excellent in toner releasability by a method wherein a fluoroplastic film layer and a silicone rubber layer are strongly bonded with each other. CONSTITUTION:On the inner wall part of the tubular wall of a tubular mold, a tubular fluoroplastic film, on the inner surface of which silicon atom bound hydrogen atom-containing organopolysiloxane oil is applied, is insertedly fixed. In addition, to the central part of the tubular mold, a roll mandrel is insertedly fixed. After that, liquid silicone rubber composition is filled between the inner surface of the tubular film and the roll mandrel so as to be thermally hardened in order to manufacture a fixing roll, in which a silicone rubber layer is laminated onto the mandrel, while the fluoroplastic film layer is laminated onto the silicone rubber layer. |
