<p>PURPOSE:To provide an outer casing mounting device for drum brake cable in which the structure of a cable is simplified, the mounting and removing work to a back plate is facilitated, and the radial movement of the cable by vibration can be suppressed. CONSTITUTION:In a device for mounting one end part of an outer casing 2 fitted onto the inner wire 15 of a drum brake cable 13 onto the inner part of a back plate 1 through a mounting hole 17 provided on the back plate, this device is formed of a fixing member 3 consisting of an elastic leg part 31 which is an elastic cylinder axially extended in diameter and having a substantially axial notch 33 in at least one position, the outer diameter of the minor diameter- side end part of the cylinder being formed smaller than the diameter of the mounting hole 17, and the bore diameter of the major diameter-side end part larger than the diameter of the mounting hole 17, and an axial fixing part protruded in the inner circumferential direction on the minor diameter-side end part of the elastic leg part.</p> |
