<p>PURPOSE:To provide a printer head driving signal generating device constituted so as to perform the gradation control of an image without increasing a circuit scale. CONSTITUTION:The data D4 of MSB corresponding to one line transmitted to one-bit shift registers 1-n are latched at the same time at the rising edge of a strobe pulse by one-bit latch circuits 11-1n before a D4 scanning period and supplied to gate circuits 21-2n. An enable signal with a pulse width of 8t is supplied to the gate circuits 21-2n during the D4 scanning period and, when the data D is '1', output having the pulse width set to 8t is generated and a printer head is driven and, when the data D4 is '0', output of an 'L' level is generated and the printer head is not driven. Hereinbelow, the same operation is performed during a D or D1 scanning pariod to drive the printer head.</p> |
