PURPOSE:To provide a portable, compact and manual belt sander capable of uniformly and simply polish even a spherical or circular arc-shaped projecting surface. CONSTITUTION:A belt sander is provided with a driving motor 3 to be fitted in a casing, a pair of rollers 6, 7 arranged separately in thc casing 2, a sander belt 5 which is wound and stretched in the condition where a part thereof is exposed between the rollers, a driving motor to rotate at least one of the rollers, an energizing means 11 to elastically energize at least one of the rollers in the separating direction, a supporting member to support the inner surface part of an exposed sand paper belt 5, and a swaying means 14 to sway the supporting member between the flat surface polishing position A and the curved surface polishing position B. |
