PURPOSE:To achieve an upgrading of game effect by a method wherein a hitting position is set and displayed at an area on a screen so arranged that a character image can reach, options are set and displayed at a moving area to distribute a course and a game value is granted on the condition that a character reaches the hitting position set. CONSTITUTION:In a screen to be displayed on an image display device of a game machine, a corridor constituted of rooms 4A-4O leading to a room having a door on one side thereof through paths 53-59 is set as options at a display area 50 encircled by the two-dot chain line. Then, in the game machine, a character 41 begins to move based on an initial winning. The corridor has the rooms 4A-4O so arranged that the character 41 can reach finally and a jack pot position and an arrival position of the character 41 are set at any of the fifteen rooms as each display of an image is made. The character 41 moves toward the arrival position set. A treasure box 43 is set at the jack pot position and the contents indicating a jack pot or a failure are set in the treasure box 43. |
