PURPOSE:To enhance density in a reading wavelength region and to improve light fastness or the like by providing a color forming layer containing a phenoxazine compd. as a basic dye and a zinc salt of a salicylic acid derivative as a coupler on a support. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive recording material is formed by providing a color forming layer containing 10-30wt.% of all of dyes of one or more kind of a phenoxazine compd. represented by formula (R1-R4 are a methyl group or an ethyl group) as a basic dye and a zinc salt of a salicylic acid derivative as a coupler on a support. As a concrete example of the phenoxazine compd., there is 3,7-bis-diethylamino-10-(4-methylbenzoyl)-phenoxazine. As concrete examples of the basic dye used together with the phenoxazine compd., there are a triarylmethane compd., a diarylmethane compd., a fluorane compd. and a pohenothiazine compd. |
