<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the new pipe inserting work according to the existing pipe renewing construction method by which a new pipe having a small diameter is inserted into a deteriorated existing pipe, by performing insertion of the new pipe while a lubricant is discharged from a number of discharge holes provided at the periphery of the tape base at the tapered tip of the new pipe. CONSTITUTION:To insert a new pipe 1 into an existing pipe 2, a lubricant 10 such as oil, grease, graphite is previously filled in a sack 32 of a lubricant supply device 9 and the tip 4 of the new pipe from a pouring part 6. The new pipe 1 is inserted into the existing pipe 2 using an inserting device. When an increase in the inserting resistance causes difficulty in the new pipe inserting work, a compressed air is fed into the new pipe 1 from a compressed air inlet 8 so that an external pressure is applied to the sack 32 of the device 9, and an inserting force is applied to the new pipe 1 by the inserting device while the lubricant 10 is discharged from discharge holes 5 at the new pipe tip 4 over the circumference. Therefore, the friction of the new pipe tip 4 with the contacting part of the inner surface of the existing pipe 2 is decreased, and thus insertion of the new pipe 1 is facilitated.</p> |
