DMS TREATING AGENT AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To increase the DMS(dimethyl sulfide) decomposition and deodorization effect of a DMS treating agent composed of a solution containing Thiobacillus thioparus and an alkali phosphate. CONSTITUTION:Thiobacillus thioparus is pre-cultivated in a culture medium containing a small quantity of thiosulface and the alkali phosphate is given to the Thiobacillus thioparus, containing substantially no thiosulfate, in a culture medium after pre-cultivation. As a result, a decomposition and deodorization enzyme is effectively produced and the extremely high DMS decomposition and deodorization capacity is exhibited.
