<p>PURPOSE:To offer a motor-driven power steering provided with a control means that can suppress the increase of unnecessary steering torque to sudden steering wheel operation during high speed travel as well as making the damping force of a steering system conform to the characteristic of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A motor-driven power steering is provided with a control means formed of a microprocessor as a base and provided with a motor control signal determining means 20 constituted of a differential computing means 25, a differential value/control signal converting part 22, a torque/control signal converting part 21, a rotating speed/control signal converting part 26, a subtracter 23, and an adder 24. On the basis of a steering torque signal T, a steering rotating speed signal N and torque differential value dT, the control means 15 generates corresponding motor control signals DT1, DN, DT2 respectively so as to control the driving of a motor driving means 16 by a motor control signal DT(DT1-DN+ DT2).</p> |
