PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain a pneumatic radial tire capable of sufficiently performing three properties of driving stability, vibration ride and light weight by making one of carcass plies into a turn-up ply stretching in mutual bead cores, and also making the remains into hollow downplies. CONSTITUTION:The carcass 4 consisting of a plurality of plies is made up of a pair of turn-up ply 4-1 stretching in mutual bead cores 5 and down ply 4-2 that passes beyond the respective turn-up upper peripheries from the belt 3 inner surface position at both side area except the central area of a tread part 3 at the outside of the ply 4-1 and extends to the position where it is folded around the bead core 5 and further extends to the inner peripheral surface of the bead core 5 and stays therein. The tread part central area shows two tread part 3 areas being located rather in a central part among areas determined by regularly dividing the tread width into four parts.
