摘要 PURPOSE:To easily perform forced operation of an air bag device with its mounted state on a vehicle in the case of cassation of a vehicle in a sensor for an occupant protection device of mechanical ignition type. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle abrupt deceleration time, a ball 34 moves from the first position to the second position against energizing force of a bias spring 60. In the second position, an engagement part 68 of a trigger is detached from a level difference part 70, a firing pin 38 is collided with a detonator 22 so as to ignite the detonator 22, and the air bag device is operated. The air bag device is forcedly operated before cassation of the vehicle, etc. Namely, an electromagnet 72 is energized so that the ball 34 moves from the first position to the second position by magnetic force of the electromagnet 70 against energizing force of the bias spring 60 and the air bag device is operated in the same way as the vehicle abrupt deceleration time when the air bag device should be operated.
