PURPOSE:To produce an electrode material for the secondary cell exhibiting excellent cell characteristic by inserting an intercalating agent to interlaminar on a highly oriented graphite plate-like body in which an oriented direction of a crystal is arranged in a plane direction. CONSTITUTION:This highly oriented graphite plate-like body having flexibility is produced by sintering a film of high polymer compd. such as polyoxadiazole or polyimide having <=400mum thickness at >=2000 deg.C in an inert gas. Numerous fine pores having 1-100mum diameter are drilled by a punch work with a press or by a laser rays on this graphite plate-like body. At least one donor intercalculating agent selected from among a group of Li, K, Rb, Cs, Sr, Ba or the intercalculating agent consisting of chloride or fluoride of every metals is inserted between graphite layers on the highly oriented graphite plate-like body having fine pores by a vapor phase constant pressure reaction method or a liq. phase contact method. |
