<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the inner surface of the cooling tube made of copper alloy of a heat exchanger from being corroded by seawater by adding iron electrolytic ions to the seawater. CONSTITUTION:In an electrolyzer 1 having a water flow electrolytic path 21 in which at least a pair of iron electrodes 3 are installed opposite to each other, the outer surfaces of the electrolyzer 1 at the starting end and the terminal end of the water flow electrolytic path 21 are each provided with a straightening path 8 having the same sectional form as that of the water electrolytic path 21 and a straightening device 23 consisting of a settling vessel 9 for changing a flow rate. In this way, the sticking and accumulation of scale on the iron electrode 3 are prevented to stably and efficiently form iron electrolytic ions.</p> |
