PURPOSE:To form easily positively air exhausting uneven parts on the surface of a drive belt in the manufacture of the drive belt of a data cartridge. CONSTITUTION:This relates to the manufacture of a drive belt for a data cartridge, and comprises each process of transferring uneven parts 2...2, 3...3 on the surface of a raw sheet 1 of the belt, punching the raw sheet 1 of the belt transferred with uneven parts 2...2, 3...3 by the transferring process for forming ring bodies 5...5, and drawing the surfaces having uneven parts 2...2; 3...3 formed with the ring bodies 5...5 reversed at almost 90 deg. formed by the punching process in the form of being oriented in the inner peripheral side or outer peripheral side. Accordingly, the transferring process is achieved by press contacting transferring molds 12, 13 onto the surface of the raw sheet 1 of the belt by means of a pressing device. |
