PURPOSE:To provide a frequency sensitive type shock absorber for which low damping force characteristics can be independently set on an elongation side and a compression side, the number of parts can be reduced, the structure thereof can be simplified, and the cost thereof can be lowered. CONSTITUTION:An elongation/compression low damping valve is built up in such a way that the outer circumference side thereof is sandwiched between a stub 22 and a collar 25, and the intermediate part thereof is provided with an elongation side orifice plate 26 having a compression side orifice hole 26a and a both-side effective disc plate 24 provided under such a condition that a compression side orifice hole 26a is closed by lapping said disc plate 24 on the inner circumference side upper surface of the elongation side orifice plate 26. Further, the opposite surface of the stud 22 is provided with its elongation side seat surface 22e with which the inner circumference side upper surface of the both-side effective disc plate 24 makes contact with the inner circumference side of the stud 22 and an annular groove 22d which allows the deflection of the outer circumferential side of the both-side effective disc plate 24 within a predetermined range, and an annular stage 25c which allows the deflections of the inner circumferential sides of the both-side effective disc plate 24 and the elongation side orifice plate 26 within the specific range, is formed on the opposite surface of the collar 25. |
