PROPYLENE RESIN FOR BLOW MOLDING AND BLOW MOLDED ARTICLE PRODUCED THEREFROM

PURPOSE:To obtain a propylene resin for blow molding which gives a blow molded article with a good embossability. CONSTITUTION:This resin comprises a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene copolymer contg. 4mol% or lower olefin units other than propylene units and has a time (tMAX) for the max. heat absorption in the isothermal crystallization at 120 deg.C determined by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) of 0.6-4min, a storage shear modulus G' obtd. by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at 180 deg.C at a frequency of 1Hz and a melt index (MI) satisfying the relation: log10G' < -1.21 log10(MI) +5.1, and an MI of 0.1-10g/10min.
