In the safety device for gas range equipped with a quick ignition means, a push button(2) is prepared at one side of the main safety body(1) formed with a gas inlet port(1a) and a gas outlet port(1b), and a magnet unit(3) prepared at the other side. A push-rod(4) is installed between the push button and the magnet unit. A lever(12) hinged at one end and having a distance adjusting screw(13) at the other end is located between the push button and the push rod. The quick ignition means including a permanent magnet(14) attracting the lever is installed next to a plunger(5) of the main body.
