<p>The powder spray coating appts. includes an injector (14) which sucks powder from a container and conveys it in a compressed air stream to a spray device (16). A powder recovery device (21,28) sucks up nonadhering sprayed powder and returns it to the container. A cyclone (28) separates the returning powder from the suction air stream and exhausts the air through and overhead suction fan, the sepd. powder being returned by gravity from the cyclone bottom through a sluice into the container. The powder container is a fresh powder (10) contg. supply container (8). A drop tube (33) extends downwardly from the sluice (32) into the supply container (8). ADVANTAGE - Spray device can be supplied directly from supply container (drum, sack or like) without need for conventional powder container. Also recovers excess powder for reuse, and ensures high uniform coating quality.</p> |
