APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROL OF STOP CLOCK

PURPOSE: To permit a system to normally operate by transmitting a signal for indicating stop clock interruption to an arbitrary user except for an idle signal and setting or releasing a stop clock interruption mode by receiving the signal. CONSTITUTION: An idle detector 1 transmits an output signal for showing a state without an input signal when the input signal does not exist for prescribed time. A processing part 2 transmits the signal for indicating stop clock interruption to the arbitrary user except for the output signal of the idle detector 1. An SL central control unit 4 sets or releases the stop clock interruption mode by receiving the signal inputted from the processing part 2. Thus, the SL central processing unit 4 is activated in the state where it is stop-clock-interrupted or stop-clock-interrupted, and the system can normally be operated.
