PURPOSE:To provide an inverter controlled power source in which the damage on switching transistors can be prevented by preventing a short-circuiting current and a surge voltage due to simultaneous ON of the transistors of an inverter. CONSTITUTION:The inverter controlled power source comprises a rectifier 2 connected to an AC power source, and an inverter 3 connected to the output of the rectifier to convert its output into high-frequency AC, wherein the inverter 3 has a pair of switching transistors Q1, Q2 connected in half-bridge, and a switching controller 4 for applying a pulse signal for controlling the switching via a pair of amplifiers 9, 10.
