PURPOSE:To increase the pressure resistance and shape rigidity of a seal lip reduce friction and enhance sealing property. CONSTITUTION:An annular gap between two members, a housing 2 and a shaft 3, which are coaxially and relatively movably assembled to each other, are sealed. In a sealing device which has a seal lip 10 made of a rubber-like elastic body in slidable contact with one member 3 of the two members, a sliding member 5 made of a resin is provided which has a sliding lip 51 extending along the seal lip 10 on the sliding surface side of the seal lip 10. |
