The vehicle has a leading wheel (4) and a following wheel (5). The twin wheel arrangements consist of a telescopic adjustment system (7) to move the two wheels (2) axially apart and together, to adjust the distance (8) of separation, by adjusting the position of the following wheel. A system of compensation (10) is also fitted to ensure that the wheels remain coaxial by means of a series of collars, which are secured to each of the wheels, and a series of corresponding shafts, located within the collars. This maintains the alignment between the collars and the wheels.
