PURPOSE:To provide the content address memory suitable for the automation of, specially, a video scheduling system by providing the content address memory for the scheduling system. CONSTITUTION:The memory system, which holds plural data blocks having key parts and extension parts and fetches the extension parts corresponding to search keys, is equipped with a means which stores the key parts in the content address memory(CAM) 62, a means which stores the extension parts in another memory 63, and a means which grants a corresponding address value by searching the CAM 62 with a search key, generates a corresponding start address of another memory 62 from the address value, and fetches the extension part stored in the start address of the latter memory 63. |
