PURPOSE:To directly operate a long hand or a short hand, and very simply set a desired time without performing rotation operation of screws or lugs and modification operation of timer data at the time when time modification or the like is performed in a hand indication type timepiece device. CONSTITUTION:When press operation is performed by a touch pen P on a transparent tablet device 12 corresponding to a time indication image of a liquid crystal display 16, long hand operation or short hand operation is judged on the basis of a distance from an hand indication coordinate (x0, y0) up to a press coordinate (x, y) read in CPU and an angle from a timepiece reference position, 12 o'clock (0 minutes) corresponding to the press coordinate (x, y) changing in response to the movement of the press position is calculated successively. An indication position of a long hand or a short hand which is an operation object in response to the calculation angle theta is moved and corrected, furthermore time data of hours or minutes after correction are calculated from the angle theta corresponding to an indication modification position, and timer data of a time data register are modified. |
