PURPOSE:To prevent a short-circuit due to a potential difference between power sources and to communicate power between the sources by forming the armature windings of an electric motor of independent first and second armature windings, and supplying the power from the first power source to the first winding and the power from the second power source to the second winding. CONSTITUTION:The armature windings of a permanent magnet type three-phase synchronous motor 30 to be driven by a hybrid power source D are formed of first and second armature windings 31, 32 independent in U-, V- and W- phases, i.e., electrically insulated from each other. Power is supplied from a first power source (lead storage battery) 1 to the winding 31, and power is supplied from a second power source (electric double layer capacitor) 2 to the winding 32. Thus, a short-circuit due to the potential difference of both the power sources 1 and 2 can be prevented. Supply power distribution from both the sources 1 and 2 is arbitrarily regulated to communicate the powers between the sources 1 and 2 with one another. |
