PURPOSE:To enable estimating a sound pressure for synthesizing the sound of a musical instrument having an internal cross-sectional shape in the vicinity of one end of the musical instrument with high accuracy by providing an estimation means estimating a sound pressure generated by the change of the internal cross-sectional shape. CONSTITUTION:A sound pressure estimating device 17 includes a control part 19, an estimation part 21 and a filter part 23 and the estimation part 21 includes a non- linear arithmetic part 25 and a linear arithmetic part 27. When the sound pressure (p) in a mouthpiece being the output of the linear arithmetic part 27 is inputted, the non-linear arithmetic part 25 calculates the opening area of a reed and moreover outputs a volumetric flow U passing through an opening part and flowing into the mouthpiece to the linear arithmetic part 27. The linear arithmetic part 27 outputs the sound pressure (p) of the mouthpiece generated by the result of the resonance pipe of the musical instrument according to the inputted volumetric flow U to the non-linear arithmetic part 25. Then, when the sound pressure (p) in the mouthpiece being the output of the linear arithmetic part 27 is inputted to the filter 23, the filter 23 calculates the sound pressure at the end part of the musical instrument to output it as a sound pressure signal Pout. |
