<p>PURPOSE:To provide a display device which facilitate an operation indication by an operator and also capable of easily performing a complicated operation indication with respect to an HMD type image display device which is put on the head of the operator. CONSTITUTION:Display parts 2L and 2R display icons indicating objects to be operated virtually as if they were at specific positions in a space and part of the body of the operator (e.g. hand or finger) corresponding to the virtual icons in the space is photographed by camera parts 3L and 3L; when part of the body of the operator in specific motion is detected, processings corresponding to the icons are started. Further, an eye detecting means is provided and when the state wherein the eyes of the operator are directed to the icons for a specific time is detected, the processings corresponding to the icons are started.</p> |
