摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To shorten overheating time and facility length and to enhance processing efficiency by using a solenoid single-turn coil, and determining a frequency to be applied to the coil on the basis of a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 10 is subjected to induction heating using a solenoid single-turn coil 1. In a method for heating the metallic plate 10 using this induction heating, a frequency meeting the formula is applied to the coil 1. In the formula, (f) is a power frequency [Hz]; (p) is the resistivity [OMEGA.m] of the metallic plate 10; (a) is the minimum thickness [m] of the metallic plate 10; U is the voltage [v] applied to the coil ; S is the cross-sectional area [m<2>] of a space surrounded by the coil; and Bs is the saturation magnetic flux density [T] of the metallic plate 10. Therefore, quick heating is made possible at high power density.</p>
