PURPOSE:To use receiver for normal call or message transmission while using it to the purpose of external device control in common and to output control data in a connecting state without losing them when an external device is not connected. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is provided with an external control data deciding part 12 for outputting an external control data received signal to a data processing part 13 when an external control data identification code is contained in transmission data inputted from a data receiving part 11, data storage device 15 for storing the external control data, connection presence/absence deciding part 17 for monitoring the state of a connection interface part 18 and outputting the connecting state signal of the external device. When the transmissive data are inputted from the data receiving part 11, the external control data received signal is inputted from the external control data deciding part 12, an external output instructing signal is inputted from an external output instructing part 16 and an external device connecting signal is inputted from the connection presence/absence deciding part 17, the data processing part 13 outputs the external control data to an external output processing part 19.
