The self-indexing position detector has a circular housing (14,15) for a drive (19) mounted on a coupling (18) driven in rotation by the shaft of the window winder motor. A sliding cursor (22) is mounted in a groove (23) in the drive (19). A torque limiter (20) is fitted between the drive and the coupling. The torque limiter has a clutch formed by a spring (20) acting on a toothed ring (18') in the coupling (18). The cursor is driven in rotation in a fixed spiral groove (24) formed in the top part of the housing. The cursor has a blade (26,27) with two contact points (41,42) that run on conductive tracks (15) that are part of a circuit mounted in the lower part of the housing. |
