The clip is made from spring steel and comprises two hooks (1) and a lug (2) projecting in opposite directions from a flat vertical face (3), and two flat sections (4,5) at different angles to the face (3). The lug and hooks are designed to fit into a frame recess so that the oblique flat sections (4,5) exert a pressure on the picture and hold it in place in the frame.
