PURPOSE:To provide improved sound quality with less data amount in the guidance broadcasting of a bus on a regular route. CONSTITUTION:A broadcasting number is read from a bus stop table 41 by a counter advanced by every bus stop, a sentence number and a control ID are read from a broadcasting table 45 by the broadcasting number, syllable data and the decoding method are read from a syllable table 58 through a syllable index table 57 from a syllable index from a sentence table 53 by the sentence number and the syllable is decoded by the decoding method. Sound data are prepared by an encoding method for which compressibility is small for the names of the bus stops and by the encoding method for which the compressibility is large for common syllables such as 'TSUGI WA (next)' and 'DESU (is)' or the like.
