PURPOSE:To obtain a device for detecting position of a motor which can be improve in S/N by contriving the constitution of a position detecting magnet so that a PG pattern can be affected by the magnetic fluxes of drive magnets and the PG generating output can be increased. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting magnet 4 is provided to a drive magnet 2 and a position signal generating stroke is counterposed to the magnet 4. The magnet 4 is provided in one magnetic pole of the magnet 2 and constituted of four poles. Of the magnetic poles of the magnet 4, the magnetic pole at the leading end in the moving direction of a mover is made equal to the magnetic pole of the corresponding magnet 2. |
