PURPOSE:To provide the keyboard device of the electronic musical instrument which operates a keyboard switch stably even when a key or hammer strikes obliquely the keyboard switch. CONSTITUTION:This keyboard device is equipped with the freely rotatable key 2 which has a pressing part 18, the keyboard switch 4 which has a pressed part 17a opposite the pressing part 18 and has the pressed part 17a by the pressing part 18 when the key 2 is pressed and rotated to detect the key depression state of the key 2, and the pressing part 18 is provided with a beltlike projection part 19 and the pressed part 17a is provided with a beltlike projection part 21 which extends in the crossing direction to the projection part 19 of the pressing part 18.
