PURPOSE:To form picture data into a CRT picture by synthesizing it so that the said picture can be scrolled at high speed. CONSTITUTION:A picture forming device is provided with a temporary memory 66 to store the picture data stored in a picture data storage means 40 while developing it two-dimensionally, a magnified/reduced picture data storage part 72 to store temporarily the said picture data while developing it two- dimensionally after magnifying or reducing it, a graphic data storage part 74 to store graphic data, a data synthesizing part 76 to select true picture data from among the stored graphic data, and synthesize it with the picture data developed two-dimensionally and stored temporarily in the magnified/reduced picture data storage part, a synthesized picture data storage part 78 to store the synthesized picture data and graphic data while developing them two- dimensionally, a data area selecting part 77 to select a part of the synthesized data storage part, a window memory 79 to store it temporarily while developing it two-dimensionally, and a picture display part 90 to display that data on a CRT. |
