PURPOSE:To provide a data multiplexing method capable structuring a flexible and a highspeed LAN system with a high throughput by multiplexing data from sub system LANs by applications in the unit of STM-1 of SDH. CONSTITUTION:An STM-4 of SDH is used for a transmission line, SDH is terminated by STM-1 terminators 43A-43D, and a multiplexer section is formed by using sub systems 43A-48A in the unit of the STM-1 or the like. When a synchronization data are accommodated, a loop circulation frame is provided in the STM-1 pay load and data are sent by the TDMA system. Furthermore, when asynchronous data are accommodated, no loop circulation frame is provided, and the loop circulation time is decreased to improve the throughput. The combination of the four STM-1 to be multiplexed is optional and the multiplexer section for unnecessary data is eliminated. |
